Our Projects

Since  Shape Lives Foundation  conception in 2003, we  have  implemented a  number  of  projects  in  the  Volta  and    Upper  East  Regions: Our  past  projects  are  as  follows:

  • We  repatriated  75  street  children  from  the  streets  of  Accra  to  their  villages   in  the  Upper East  Region  in 2005
  • We  provided  employment   for  250  women  basket  weavers  in  Nyariga
  • We  built a  lassroom  block  for Nyariga  Donne  Girls  School - 2005
  • We  donated over 500 second  hand  bicycles  to Nyariga  Community- 2006 
  • We supported 280   needy  children  in  basic  schools  - 2006-2009
  • We supported 37  basic  schools  in gardening activities – 2006-2009

 Our ongoing projects  are  as  follows:

  • Provision  of  support   for  needy  but  brilliant  children  in  basic  school  in  Ghana
  • Empowering  women  in income  generating  activities
  • Promoting  bicycling  for  good  health  and  also  as  a cheaper transportation means  for the  rural  areas  in  Ghana
  • And other projects  that  are not  yet  listed  here

Our  programs  and  activities  are  designed  to   benefit all  classes  of  people from all  backgrounds  in  our  operational  areas. Specifically  our  focus  is  on  women, children and  people  with  disabilities  since  they  are  identified  to  more  vulnerable  and  more poorer  in  the  communities  we  work. We  ensure  that  project  beneficiaries  are  involved   in  project  designing, implementation and  all  other  aspects  of  the  project  which  helps  to  achieve  the  desire project  results.
